Principal
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Hello IES Family!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am very excited to be your new principal! I hope this letter finds you and your family refreshed, recharged, and ready for an exciting year of learning and growth. It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome both our returning families and those who are new to our Incline Elementary community.
At Incline Elementary, we are proud of the strong foundation that has been built through years of dedication, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence. This year, my goal is to continue that great work with a renewed focus on high expectations, consistency, academic excellence, and community connection.
One of our key priorities this year is to deepen our commitment to STEM education—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through hands-on learning, inquiry-based projects, and real-world problem-solving, we aim to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in every student. Our STEM initiatives will be woven into the fabric of our academic programs, ensuring that students are not only learning core concepts but also applying them in meaningful and engaging ways.
Academically, we will continue to uphold high standards while supporting every learner’s unique journey. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a nurturing and structured environment where students feel safe, challenged, and celebrated. We believe that consistency in expectations, routines, and communication is key to student success, and we are excited to partner with you to ensure that all students thrive at IES.
Community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s through family engagement events, classroom volunteering, or school-wide celebrations, we know that strong relationships between home and school are essential. This year, we will be offering more opportunities for families to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the vibrant life of our school.
Thank you for your support and trust. Together, we will make this school year one of growth, discovery, and joy for every child. Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime with any questions. I strive to listen, problem solve, and most importantly, support our families.
With gratitude and excitement,
Sarah Zabel, M.Ed.
